‘The aim for this exhibition is to portray the wide-ranging responses we as humans can have when confronted with the vastness of the Universe.

Does one surrender to abstraction or focus on that which is tangible and comprehensible (still life’s or portraits for example)? Feel comforted (or in despair) by one’s (comparative) insignificance or turn to one’s spirituality? Trying to comprehend the vastness of the universe feels absurd, a bit like trying to comprehend Graham’s number, so perhaps art is a good place to turn’.
